Now you can enjoy the benefits of gingko, green tea and Chinese herbs without all the caffeine! Our green tea is decaffeinated using a carbon dioxide effervescent process to produce a decaffeinated green tea with a smooth and mild flavor. Carbon dioxide occurs naturally in air. It gives carbonated mineral waters their fizz. This tea is made from gingko and decaffeinated green tea along with a blend or revered Chinese herbs including ginseng, eleuthero (commonly called Siberian ginseng), astragalus, poria, fo-ti and licorice root. Chinese herbalists considered them to be beneficial herbs that helped lift spirits (chi). Gingko has been cultivated in China for ages. The gingko is estimated to be 270 million years old. Gingkos are long-lived, with some trees said to be more than 2,500 years old. Enjoy this delicious tea hot or iced.
HOT TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Let steep 5 minutes, or longer, to taste. Remove the tea bag, squeeze gently. ICED TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 tea bags. Let steep 5 minutes, or longer, to taste. Remove the tea bags, squeeze gently, then add ice. For stronger flavor and effect, steep longer. A tea bag can be re-used to extract more herbal taste.
