Carob powder is made from the long, bean-like pods of the carob tree Ceratonia siliqua , a flowering evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean and northern Africa. Carob is high in dietary fiber, which means that, unlike traditional effects of white flours or sugars, it wont cause blood sugar spikes, and actually results in feeling fuller for longer periods of time.

Polyphenols in carob are also powerful antioxidants, protecting your body from damage from free radicals and environmental toxins.

Carob has an earthy, malty sweetness and can easily be added to smoothies, raw treats, frozen desserts, and homemade baked goods.

Suggested Usage Start with 1 teaspoon per day and gradually work up to 1 tablespoon per day, mixed with purified water, juice, coconut water, or smoothie. Consume with conscious, positive intent.
